The Chico Panthers held off the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, March 30. Chico will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sacramento Adventist (Carmichael, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-5.

The Fighting Zebras (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Wheatland held off Bear River (Grass Valley, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
