West Virginia High School Lacrosse - Jefferson County overwhelms Preston

The Jefferson County Wild lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting Preston Knights to 9 in the Wild league win on Saturday.

The Wild (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Fairmont Senior was overwhelmed by Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA), 20-4, in a non-league game.

The Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs go into the WVSLA - Division II game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Martinsburg prevailed over Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV), 7-6, in a league game.
