Berkshire School Bears (Sheffield, MA) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA), 8-7 in a non-league battle.

The Bears now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deerfield Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 3.

In their next game, the Penguins clash with the Winchendon Wapiti (Winchendon, MA) in a NEPSAC Freelance battle, on Monday, April 1. Cushing Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wapiti come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Portsmouth Abbey (Portsmouth, RI).
