Kentucky High School Softball - Allen County-Scottsville bounces Bourbon County

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) and the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), witnessed Allen County-Scottsville's softball squad tip Bourbon County by a count of 5-1.

The Patriots now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Garrard County for a non-league match on Saturday, March 30. Allen County-Scottsville will face a Golden Lions squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Bourbon County moves to 3-5 on the season. The Colonels host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to face the Musketeers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 30.
