Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Midwest Central/Illini Central Raiders (Manito, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gillespie for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 3. Carrollton will face a Miners squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Miners record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Midwest Central/Illini Central falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Williamsville (Williamsville, IL) to face the Bullets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. The Bullets enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Williamsville won 20-1 in their recent league challenge against Riverton (Riverton, IL)
