LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Salt Fork for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. LeRoy will battle a Storm squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, IL). The Storm record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Central A & M falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Sullivan lost 12-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL)
