The Cordova Blue Devils softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting New Hope Indians to 6 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Cordova improves its record to 7-15 on the year. The Blue Devils host Corner (Warrior, AL) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a 4A Area 9 game on Monday, April 1. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 11-6. Corner won 18-1 in their recent league game against Fultondale (Birmingham, AL)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 1. New Hope will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 16-1 league loss to Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL).
