Pennsylvania High School Softball - Dunmore holds off Wyoming Area

March 30, 2024: Dunmore, PA 18512

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) and the visiting Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA), witnessed Dunmore's softball squad tip Wyoming Area by a count of 7-5.

The Bucks now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Honesdale for a Lackawanna 3 match on Wednesday, April 3. Dunmore will face a Hornets squad coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Wyoming Area moves to 1-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA) to face the Blue Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 2. The Blue Knights go into the match with a record of 0-2. Wyoming Seminary College Prep lost 18-4 in their recent non-league match against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA)
