Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the visiting Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC), witnessed East Wilkes's softball squad tip Havelock by a count of 6-4.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Johnston for a non-league match on Saturday, March 30. East Wilkes will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Havelock moves to 7-3 on the season. The Rams host South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Saturday, March 30. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 6-3. South Lenoir won 10-0 in their recent league match against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)
