Silverdale Academy Seahawks (Chattanooga, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bryant for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Silverdale Academy will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Silverdale Academy (Chattanooga, TN). The Hornets record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Halls falls to 14-2 on the campaign. The Red devils host Karns (Knoxville, TN) to battle the Beavers in a 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Beavers enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. Karns lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeway Christian Academy (Morristown, TN)
