The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Stillman Valley Cardinals to 3 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Homewood-Flossmoor improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, April 2. The Thunderbolts come into the game with a record of 8-1. Andrew won 8-5 in their recent non-league game against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) in a Big Northern game, on Tuesday, April 2. Stillman Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
