In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL), by a margin of 15-10.

With the triumph, Lexington moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL) to play the Vikings in a Heart of Illinois contest on Monday, April 1. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 3-4. Tri-Valley won 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)

In their next game, the Bearcats play the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes (Georgetown, IL) in a Vermilion Valley contest, on Monday, April 1. Milford will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL).
