In Saturday's non-league contest, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL), by a margin of 13-5.

With the triumph, Morrison moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to play the Rams in a Three Rivers West contest on Thursday, April 4. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 5-6. Riverdale won 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Stark County (Toulon, IL)

In their next game, the Rockets play the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Rochester will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Railsplitters come into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Richwoods (Peoria, IL).
