Indiana High School Softball - Mt. Vernon bounces Perry Central

The Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) softball routed the host Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN), 10-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against North Harrison (Ramsey, IN). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, North Harrison was routed by Southridge (Huntingburg, IN), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

The Commodores now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Springs Valley for a Patoka Lake bout on Monday, April 1. Perry Central will confront a Blackhawks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 1-1.
