With the loss, Newtown falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT) to face the Cadets in a non-league match on Monday, April 1. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 1-0. St. Joseph won 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Guilford (Guilford, CT)
