The Red Bud Musketeers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Triad Knights to 3 in the Musketeers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Red Bud moves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Musketeers host Crab Orchard (Marion, IL) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, April 1. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 8-2. Crab Orchard won 12-2 in their recent league game against Pope County (Golconda, IL)
In their next game, the Knights play the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 30. Triad will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Waterloo (Waterloo, IL).
