In Sunday's non-league bout, the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), by a tally of 9-2.

Next up, the Shamrocks encounter the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats (Hilliard, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Ballard (Louisville, KY).

The Briar Jumpers (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators enter the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Greenwood edged Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
