In Sunday's non-league match, the visiting Oakland Patriots softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Wayne County Wildcats.
The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their match against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL). The Chiefs go into the non-league match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, North Jackson was routed by Madison County (Gurley, AL), 11-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Lawrence County Wildcats (Lawrenceburg, TN) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 31. Wayne County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 4-4 record after their 8-7 league loss to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN).
