Illinois High School Baseball - Arcola defeats Marshall

March 30, 2026: Arcola, IL 61910

The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) and the visiting Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL), saw Arcola's baseball team gain a win over Marshall by a tally of 14-7.

The Purple Riders (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Timberwolves come into the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 3-5 record.

The Lions now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 31. Marshall will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Neoga (Neoga, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-4.
