Kentucky High School Baseball - Cooper edges Holmes

The Cooper Jaguars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Holmes Bulldogs to 5 in the Jaguars non-league win on Monday.

The Jaguars now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Covington Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 31. Cooper will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 12-5 non-league loss to Loveland (Loveland, OH). The Colonels record now stands at 5-4.

The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers enter the District 35 outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Beechwood by Conner (Hebron, KY), 13-3, in a non-league outing.
