In Monday's non-league bout, the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH), by a score of 9-2.

Next up, the Invaders encounter the Brush Arcs (Lyndhurst, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 31. Normandy will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Independence drops to 0-2 on the year. The Blue devils host Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 3. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
