The Normal West Wildcats baseball squad (Normal, IL), was overwhelmed 4-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL)
The Rockets (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Bloomington was overwhelmed by Capital City (Jefferson City, MO), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 2. Normal West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Generals enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL).
