In Monday's non-league bout, the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), by a tally of 18-0.
Next up, the Turks encounter the Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 31. Tremont will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Irish come into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Dunlap (Dunlap, IL).
The Spartans now possess a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rantoul for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 2.
