Kentucky High School Softball - Johnson Central edged by Langley

March 30, 2026: Paintsville, KY 41240

Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY), 9-8 in a non-league match.

The Saxons (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Generals come into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Winfield nipped Nitro (Nitro, WV), 9-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 31. Johnson Central will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Foxes come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL).
