New Mexico High School Baseball - Albuquerque sneaks past Valencia

March 31, 2022: Los Lunas, NM 87031

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), saw Albuquerque's baseball squad edge Valencia by a margin of 12-11.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs play the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 5 battle, on Saturday, April 2. Albuquerque will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Demons enter the battle with a 7-8 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).

The Jaguars now sport a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grants for a 4A District 5 battle on Tuesday, April 5. Valencia will play a Pirates squad coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 13-7.
