Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE) and the visiting Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride (Omaha, NE), saw Bellevue West's baseball squad edge Roncalli Catholic by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds play the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District 1 battle, on Saturday, April 2. Bellevue West will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE).
