In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Smithfield Sentinels lacrosse squad scored a good 13-1 victory over the Johnston Panthers.

The Sentinels now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Hope for a Division 2 test on Tuesday, April 5.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Wednesday, April 6. Johnston will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
