Steamboat Springs Sailors (Steamboat Springs, CO) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Sailors confront the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) in a 4A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, April 2. Steamboat Springs will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Palisade (Palisade, CO).
The Gore Rangers now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Roaring Fork for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. Vail Mountain will confront a Rams team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
