In Thursday's non-league contest, the Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) softball team held off the host Pennington Tigers (Blountsville, AL), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Southeastern moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mustangs host West End (Walnut Grove, AL) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Monday, April 4. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 2-0.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 4. Pennington will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Redskins come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL).
