Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), 12-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kellis for a 5A Northwest challenge on Monday, April 4. Centennial will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Williams Field falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Black hawks host Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Tigers in a 5A San Tan challenge on Friday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Gilbert won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)
