The Deerfield Beach Bucks softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Plantation Colonels to 7 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Deerfield Beach improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Bucks travel to Everglades (Miramar, FL) to clash with the Gators in a non-league game on Monday, April 4. The Gators come into the game with a record of 2-6. Everglades lost 16-1 in their recent non-league game against Cypress Bay (Weston, FL)

In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Hollywood Hills Spartans (Hollywood, FL) in a 5A District 15 game, on Thursday, April 7. Plantation will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
