The Non Varsity Opponent softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Jal Panthers to 8 in the non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Non Varsity Opponent moves its record to 28-43 on the year. The travel to Emerald (Greenwood, SC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Friday, April 1. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-4.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Dora Coyotes (Dora, NM) in a A/2A District 4 game, on Friday, April 1. Jal will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Coyotes come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 16-0 league loss to Loving (Loving, NM).
