In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Yucaipa Thunderbirds softball team scored a close 12-6 win over the Upland Highlanders/Scots.

Coming up next, the Thunderbirds battle the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 31. Yucaipa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 14-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to North (Torrance, CA).

The Highlanders/Scots (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Jaguars enter the 5A Desert West outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Canyon View tipped Millennium (Goodyear, AZ), 13-2, in a league outing.
