The Caney Cougars baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Amber-Pocasset Panthers to 6 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Valliant (Valliant, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Valliant by Tupelo (Tupelo, OK), 8-0, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Silo (Silo, OK). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Silo edged Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK), 5-3, in a non-league match.
