Tennessee High School Baseball - Anderson County defeats Pike County Central

March 31, 2023: Clinton, TN 37716

Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), 9-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Anderson County upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Mavericks host East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-3. East Ridge lost 13-7 in their recent league test against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN)

With the defeat, Pike County Central falls to 1-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Bears come into the test with a record of 3-2. Lake Zurich lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN)
