Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Beech Buccaneers (Hendersonville, TN) and the visiting Bartlett Hawks (Bartlett, IL), saw Beech's baseball squad knock off Bartlett by a count of 6-1.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers play the Zionsville Eagles (Zionsville, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 1. Beech will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Spring Hill (Columbia, TN).

The Hawks now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Streamwood for a Upstate Eight battle on Monday, April 3. Bartlett will play a Sabres squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 5-2.
