Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Carroll upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-0. New Albany won 13-6 in their recent non-league test against Holy Cross (Louisville, KY)
With the defeat, Floyd Central falls to 0-1 on the season. The Highlanders host Corydon Central (Corydon, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 5. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
