Highland Rams (Pocatello, ID) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Rams host Madison (Rexburg, ID) to battle the Bobcats in a 5A High Country test on Monday, April 3. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Columbia falls to 10-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID) to battle the Knights in a 4A Southern Idaho test on Tuesday, April 4. The Knights come into the test with a record of 8-5. Bishop Kelly won 30-0 in their recent non-league test against Vale (Vale, OR)
