The Hillcrest Hornets baseball team (Springfield, MO), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO)
The Tigers now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 1. Ozark will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Parkway South (Manchester, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
Next, the Hornets confront the Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 1. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Parkview (Springfield, MO).
