Ohio High School Baseball - McQuaid Jesuit nips Northmont

McQuaid Jesuit Knights (Rochester, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 8-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, McQuaid Jesuit upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Evanston (Evanston, IL) to battle the Wildkits in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Wildkits come into the test with a record of 5-1. Evanston won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Northmont (Clayton, OH)

With the defeat, Northmont falls to 3-2 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Fairmont (Kettering, OH) to battle the Firebirds in a Greater Western Ohio test on Wednesday, April 5. The Firebirds come into the test with a record of 2-0.
