In Friday's non-league battle, the host Carlsbad Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pacific Ridge Firebird.
The Lancers (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Poway (Poway, CA). The Titans come into the battle with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Poway was outscored by Del Norte (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
The Firebird now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host San Marcos for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 5.
