West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Kings Park Kingsmen (Kings Park, NY), 11-9 in a league test.

The Lions now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to John Glenn for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 4.

In their next game, the Kingsmen face the Southampton Mariners (Southampton, NY) in a Section 11 II test, on Tuesday, April 4. Kings Park will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Mariners come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 9-5 league loss to Port Jefferson (Port Jefferson, NY).
