The Amelia Academy Patriots nudged the host Kenston Forest Kavaliers baseball team by a tally of 6-5 in Friday's league bout.

The Patriots now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tidewater Academy for a bout on Monday, April 17.

Coming up next, the Kavaliers play the Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Kenston Forest will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA).
