The Island Coast Gators baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Port Charlotte Pirates to 3 in the Gators league victory on Friday.
The Gators (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Bonita Springs (Bonita Springs, FL). The Bullsharks go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record.
The Pirates (2-8) will now prepare for their match against North Port (North Port, FL). The Bobcats go into the match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, North Port was overwhelmed by Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL), 7-6, in a non-league match.
