In Friday's non-league contest, the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) lacrosse squad edged the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC), by a count of 8-7.
Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Apex will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
The Crusaders now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Enloe for a non-league contest on Friday, April 14.
