The West Brunswick Trojans softball team scored 28 runs and limited the host New Hanover Wildcats to 10 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, West Brunswick moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Trojans host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, April 3. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-2. South Brunswick won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 6. New Hanover will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Scorpions come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
