The Grand Island Vikings lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Depew Wildcats to 9 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Hamburg Bulldogs (Hamburg, NY) in a Class B contest, on Friday, April 14. Grand Island will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY).

The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Akron for a Class D contest on Wednesday, April 12. Depew will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 22-2 league win over Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
