Palmetto Ridge Bears (Naples, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Taravella Trojans (Coral Springs, FL), 4-3 in a non-league test.
The Bears now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Lely for a non-league test on Monday, April 3. Palmetto Ridge will face a Trojans squad coming off a 19-2 non-league win over Golden Gate (Naples, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-8.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Olympic Heights Lions (Boca Raton, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 3. Taravella will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 7-6 record after their 13-1 non-league win over Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee, FL).
