Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC), 20-9 in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Boiling Springs for a 5A District 2 battle on Tuesday, April 11.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Eastside Eagles (Taylors, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 3. Woodmont will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 13-5 non-league loss to Riverside (Greer, SC).
