In Friday's non-league battle, the host Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees.
The Eagles (27-1) will now prepare for their battle against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 18-8 record. In their last battle, Irvin nudged Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
